University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) Online Application

The UKZN application form is available online for download. Candidates can apply for multiple programmes /courses through a single application form or online application form. Candidates need to ensure that they have copies of their statement and other documents such as ID required to fill the application form of UKZN. UKZN Application Form : Important Dates:

Applications Open: 15 March

Applications Close:
30 June(Medical programmes)
30 September (all other programmes)
30 April (second-semester programmes)

Application Fees:

  • R240 (SA citizen)
  • R300 (International student)
  • R465 (Late application fee for SA citizens)
  • R575 (Late application fee for international students)

UKZN Application Form: Application Fees

South African Undergraduate and Postgraduate applicants pay an application fee of R200 directly to the Central Applications Office (CAO) (R400
late fee). (Local applicants)

Returning students to UKZN pay an application fee of R200 directly to the University (R400 late fee). (Local applicants).

Application fees for international students are as follows:

  • SADC R470
  • Countries outside Africa $146

The application fee is non-refundable and does not form part of the tuition fees at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
